AYP Celebration at the Beach

The smell of food was in the air! The spirit of family and friends was everywhere as Jonesboro Middle School held its AYP celebration on Thursday, September 3, at the Clayton County International Park and Beach. This celebration was a PTSA membership drive as well as a celebration for success in meeting Annual Yearly Progress.

Adding to the excitement was the announcement that Jonesboro Middle received the highest award in the district for attendance - the Platinum Award.  Jonesboro Middle has a lot to be proud of and has high hopes for continuing to accomplish its mission of facilitating social and academic progress in the school community. The students, parents, faculty, and community members enjoyed the festivities and look forward to celebrating next year! Go Bears!
