On Saturday, October 17th, the 9th grade World History students in Ms. Toles and Ms. Toby's class went to PF Chang  for a Meet Us There event. The purpose of this event was to connect the school to the home and extend into the community by exposing students and parents to venues in their immediate surroundings that relate to the state standards and local school district curriculum focuses. The students and their parents  enjoyed authentic Chinese food and received insightful information about the Chinese culture, while indulging in wonderful food. The students were also given an assignment to complete during their meal. In January, the students will travel to a Greek restaurant.
