Grandparents Lunch

Many lucky students at Harper Elementary enjoyed a nutritious meal and a sweet whisper of wisdom from Grandma at lunch on Thursday September 10th.  More than ninety (90) visitors came to support their loved ones.  Grandparents are valuable and help students to achieve academic success!  At the luncheon visitors were encouraged to shop with their grandchildren at our Fall Book Fair and to sign up for future volunteer events.  Most Grandparents were interested in the Rocking Reader program and are scheduled to read to small groups later this month.
