Mundy’s Mill High School AFJROTC UN-ARMED Regulation Drill Team
2nd in the Country!

On Saturday, February 6th 2010, the Mundy’s Mill
High School AFJROTC Drill Team participated in the Coca-Cola National
Drill Meet in Montgomery, Alabama. This drill meet was a joint
competition, which included all branches of the military, The Army, Navy
and Marine JROTC Units. This National Drill Meet attracts the best drill
competitors in the United States, bringing forth more than 80 schools.
The Mundy’s Mill Unarmed Regulation team placed 2nd in
their category in this National competition. They lost only to the
overall 1st place winner, Klein Collins H.S. from Spring Tx.
The Mundy’s Mill National Champion runner up team was commanded
by; C/ Maj. Kentearial Ward. The Team performed superbly and
represented The Clayton County District and Mundy’s Mill High School in
fine fashion. That is not local, county or state, but Number 2 in
the NATION!! A tremendous feat.
