Challenge 24 Winners

Math activity was abuzz at the district’s Challenge 24 math competition held Saturday, May 1 at Charles R. Drew High School. Fourth and fifth grade students competed in operations with four random numbers to add, subtract, multiply, or divide them to equal the number 24. Trophies were presented to the top three in each grade level.

4th Grade Clayton County Challenge 24 Winners

• 1st Place – Yuvani Gonzalez – Harper Elementary

• 2nd Place – Don Truong – McGarrah Elementary

• 3rd Place – Camori Rhodes – Riverdale Elementary

5th Grade Clayton County Challenge 24 Winners

• 1st Place – Tamarion Pitts – Oliver Elementary

• 2nd Place – Kyle Ferrell – Harper Elementary

• 3rd Place – Yasin Hollis – River’s Edge Elementary

The top six finalists in fourth and fifth grades will compete in the Regional Challenge 24 competition that will be held Saturday, May 22, in Henry County.
