Rock and Read Night

Swint Elementary students and parents understand the value of a good story.  One hundred parents and children showed up for this event in spite of the cold weather.  Students wore their pajamas, listened to stories, drank hot chocolate, and ate cookies. Throughout the evening students read lots of books and had fun. The event was held in the media center on Jan. 14 from 5 – 7 p.m.
