On Saturday, January 28th, Riverdale High School hosted its Third Annual Miss Elite of Clayton County Scholarship Pageant 2012. An invitation to participate was extended to all female students currently enrolled in a Clayton County High School.

Seven delightful contestants competed to be name ‘Miss Elite of Clayton County.' All of these ladies are at the tops of their classes; all with a minimum of a 4.0 GPA! There were five beauties from Riverdale, one lovely girl from Morrow, and one adorable female from Mount Zion High School.

Pageant winners were awarded scholarships after working very hard.

The Queen, Kalyn Wilson from Riverdale High, was crowned 2012 Miss Elite and awarded a $750.00 scholarship.

The First Runner-Up,  Taylor Brooks from Mt. Zion High, received a $250.00 scholarship. The funds will assist in the college of their choice for whatever career path they choose. Second Runner-Up Honors were bestowed upon Ashley Williams of Morrow High School.

The other 4 contestants were Alexis West, Tyanna Arnold, Daria Dunn, and Mary Curtis all from Riverdale High School. These amazing women entertained the crowd by gracing the audience with their intelligence, their allure, their elegance and their exquisiteness.
