** This salary schedule is based on a
combination of State of Georgia pay rates and Local supplements.
The Clayton County Board of Education pays full premiums
for the following insurances:
(1) Single Dental,
(2) Long-Term Disability, and
(3) Liability Insurance.
Health Insurance - Several options are
available through the State Health Benefit Plan. The major cost is
provided as a benefit by the State of Georgia and our school system.
Your cost is determined by the option you select.
Life Insurance - Full premium paid by the
Board for one times annual salary (maximum of $50,000); employee has
option to buy up to four times annual salary (maximum $200,000.)
Dependent Life is paid by the employee.
The Board offers Short-Term Disability,
Vision Insurance, Cancer and Specified Diseases, and Annuity
participation as employee paid options.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is available
at no cost to employee.
THE CLAYTON COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION
RESERVES THE RIGHT
TO MODIFY OR ELIMINATE BENEFITS.
Activity supplements are available to
teachers selected to serve
as coaches or sponsors of a variety of co-curricular activities.
The amount ranges from 2% to 25% of state base pay.
