Uniform Dress for High Schools
 

After an evaluation of uniform dress for the first month of school, district leaders have announced that students will not be in compliance with uniform dress who wear the following: Same color tops and bottoms, (examples: black tops/black pants, gray tops/gray pants, etc.)

SCHOOL COLORS
Ash Street High School Black / Gold / White
Drew High School Old Gold / Navy / White
Flint River School Red / White / Black
Forest Park High School Burgundy / Gold / White
Jonesboro High School Red / White / Black
Lovejoy High School Navy / Light Blue / White
Morrow High School Forest / Green / Gold / White
Mount Zion High School Red / Black / White
Mundy's Mill High School Orange / Navy Blue / White
North Clayton High School White / Blue
Riverdale High School Black / Gray / White
Open Campus Navy Blue / White

Female students

     Tops or Shirts

Tops should have either a polo style collar or a button down collar;

Colors for tops may be school colors or neutral - white, gray or light blue;
 

bullet

Shirts should cover the waistline;
 

bullet

Shirts longer than three inches below the waistline should be tucked inside pants, shorts, or skirts.

     Pants/Shorts/Skirts

Bottoms should be khaki style or dress pants in colors khaki, blue, gray, or black.

male students

     Tops or Shirts

Tops should have either a polo style collar or a button down collar;

Colors for tops may be school colors or neutral - white, gray or light blue;

Shirts should be tucked into pants.

     Pants/Shorts

Pants or shorts should be khaki style or dress pants in colors khaki, blue, gray, or black.

ALL students

bullet

Belts are required with no sagging of pants;
 

bullet

Jeans are not included in uniform dress;
 

bullet

Flip-Flops, Shower Shoes, Skate Shoes and House Slippers are not permitted;
 

bullet

No headgear of any kind.
 

bullet

Outer garments are allowed (coats, sweaters, hoodies, etc.) – Student must be in uniform dress. (See above)

 

 Students are expected to follow the District Dress Code as stated in the New Student Handbook for 2009-2010.
