CCPS Observes the 2009 Semester Break

The first semester for Clayton County Public Schools will end Friday, December 18, 2009. Clayton County Public Schools will observe the 2009 Semester Break in the following manner:

  • Friday, December 18, will be an early release day for CCPS students. Students will be released on the following schedule:

Elementary Schools 11:15 a.m.
Middle Schools 12:20 p.m.
High Schools 11:40 a.m.

  • The system will observe Semester Break beginning Monday, December 21, continuing through Friday, January 1, 2010.

    All schools and offices will be closed during the two-week Semester Break period.

  • Schools and offices in Clayton County will return to normal schedule on Monday, Jaunary 4, 2010, which is considered a Professional Development Day.

    Students will NOT report.

  • Students will return to school on Tuesday January, 5 2010.
