Open Enrollment/Application Process

The application portal is now open for the 2018-2019 school year. The deadline to submit a completed application is DECEMBER 15, 2017.

                        Infinite Campus Log-In (Current students only)

                        Proof of Residence (Non-CCPS students)
                        Transcripts and Assessment Results (Non-CCPS students)
                        Other acceptance criteria necessary for completion

What can you do to ensure a completed application is submitted prior to December 15, 2017?

  • Check your child’s Infinite Campus account to ensure you can access the account, and to ensure you are aware of your child’s academic progress.
  • Secure email addresses for two teachers that will complete the recommendation forms. Teachers will receive the recommendation forms electronically.
  • Read the School Choice Guide in its entirety.
  • Know and understand the eligibility criteria for your selected school choices, and submit all required additional information.
  • If you reside in Clayton County but do not attend a school under the jurisdiction of Clayton County Public Schools, you will be required to submit residency documentation and student transcripts prior to December 15, 2017. All documents must be uploaded to the application portal.

Please Note: The application portal will only allow those students who are current Pre-Kindergarten through 9th Grade students to apply.

Parents wishing to enroll their children as a Pre-Kindergarten student for 2018-2019, should not submit an application at this time. Please visit the Pre-Kindergarten website for more information.

Lottery Selection Process

Student placement is limited per program, grade level, and school. All eligible students must adhere to contractual understandings; however, enrollment is not guaranteed for any applicant.

​Post Lottery

·      Students who are selected in the school choice lottery will receive notification from the district via e-mail by April 1, 2018.


·      Students who are not selected in the school choice lottery will receive notification from the district via e-mail or U.S. Mail on or about April 1, 2018.


·      If a student is not selected to attend a school choice program prior to the start of the 2018-2019 school year, a new application may be submitted for the 2019-2020 school year.
