YOU ARE THE KEY...

Foreword

For many years the original version of You Are the Key served as the handbook for Georgia school library media programs.  Prior to this latest edition, the last revision of the handbook was in 1991.  At the annual Department of Education/Georgia Library Media Association's Summer Leadership Workshop in 2000, a collaborative effort was begun to update You Are the Key to reflect new technology the growth it has brought our profession.

Work Continues, as this is far from a finished version.  All efforts in revising this handbook have been on a volunteer basis, with committee members meeting on Saturdays and completing assignments on their own personal time.
