Purpose:
Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) recognizes the desire of parents and students to make informed decisions by choosing the most appropriate learning paths within public school education. CCPS offers various magnet programs for students enrolled in public schools. The programs are central to our four academic priorities:  (1) literacy the across curriculum, (2) numeracy across the curriculum, (3) integration of technology, and (4) critical thinking through various pathways such as Academics, World Languages, Performing and Visual Arts, and Career, Technical and Agricultural Education.

Magnet Programs:
Parents with students entering Pre-Kindergarten through grade 10 will have an opportunity to choose from an array of theme-based curricula offerings at elementary, middle, and high school levels that provide innovative and rigorous academic instruction by specially trained teachers. These magnet programs engage students and provide them with a pathway to post-secondary education and career options.
