Shuttle Bus Information

The Clayton County Public Schools Transportation Shuttle Program is available to students who are enrolled in special programs (International Baccalaureate, Fine Arts, Rex Mill Theme, Unidos, Middle School Alternative, etc.)  These students ride an assigned school bus to and from school from one of four strategic locations that serve as pick up and drop off points:

Parents are responsible for transporting students to the shuttle location in the morning, and from the shuttle location in the afternoon.  Buses will remain at the shuttle location for 5 minutes for parents to pick up their student. 

These procedures are to ensure student safety and security. 

Travel time can vary depending on program location, with traffic being one major factor. Roads in Clayton County are becoming more congested every day and our shuttle program moves children from one end of the county to the other. Traffic congestion severely impacts the speed a bus can travel; therefore, the longer the route, the longer the transit time. This sometimes requires early pick-up and later drop-off.
