The School Social Work Department team provides a variety of
services to approximately 50,000 students. Clayton County
Schools requires school social workers to have a Masters in
Social Work from an accredited school, as well as certification
from the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
Additionally, our department retains social workers who possess
qualifications beyond what is required by the school
