Digital Citizenship

"The norms of responsible, safe, appropriate, and effective use of technology"

All students need digital citizenship skills to participate fully in their communities and make smart choices online and in life.  Clayton County Public Schools' students have access to a substantial quantity of digital resources.  Along with that access comes considerable responsibility to be superior digital citizens.  Teachers will add digital citizenship activities to their Canvas courses at the appropriate times during the school year.  While digital citizenship is embedded throughout instruction, teachers should have a dialogue with their students concerning the topics contained in the modules and must have their students participate in the assessment at the end of each module.

Digital citizenship content is available for teacher download in the Commons area of Canvas.
