Heat Index Alert - Orange Level for September 11, 2026

Based on information from the National Weather Service (NWS) for Friday, September 11, 2026, regarding daily temperatures and the heat index for Metro Atlanta, the district will be maintaining an Orange Level status with an emphasis on limited outdoor activities and increased hydration.

As a result, all district-sanctioned outdoor activities associated with day-to-day school activities are limited for September 11, 2026.

Join Us at Curriculum Night

Curriculum Night will be taking place over the next several weeks at our elementary, middle, and high schools.

Join us for an evening for families to better understand what their children are learning, connect directly with the educators supporting them, and understand how they can remain engaged in their child's education.

Commemorating the 25th Anniversary of September 11
