Parent / Caregiver AI Information Sessions
Access the CCPS AI Literacy Course for Community Members
Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) is continuing its commitment to responsible technology use and digital citizenship by launching a Parent AI Information Session to host all caregivers as part of the district’s phased Artificial Intelligence (AI) literacy implementation plan.
The district-led Parent AI Information Sessions will take place on February 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The sessions will be facilitated by CCPS Instructional Technology, STEM and Innovation, and Library Media Services, and are designed to support families and community members as AI-related learning expands across the district.
Purpose of the Parent AI Information Sessions
These sessions are designed to:

Build parent and community understanding of AI literacy, responsible use, and digital citizenship

Share CCPS’ vision for AI integration as prescribed in the CCPS AI Position Statement, including guidance and resources for families

Strengthen transparency and trust as AI concepts are introduced in classrooms
What Families Can Expect
Participants will receive:

An overview of how AI is being introduced thoughtfully and responsibly within CCPS

Guidance on supporting safe and ethical AI use at home and in the community

Access to a Household & Community AI Literacy Canvas course, developed by CCPS

Language support, with Vietnamese and Spanish translators available during the district-led sessions
