To recruit, develop, and retain highly qualified and effective staff

This goal is the foundation upon which all other district goals and strategies are built.  We must recruit, hire and retain an effective workforce to be successful in creating and embedding a culture of high performance throughout Clayton County Public Schools. This commitment extends to all members of the district’s employees, from administrators to teachers to support staff. We all share equally in the responsibility of providing the best education possible to the children of Clayton County. Our leadership must make good decisions when completing the hiring process. We must be vigilant in checking and completing security background checks. We must also be efficient, accurate and truthful in our evaluation of all employees.
