STEM: Dream Designing & Coding (K-2)

STEM: Dream Designing & Coding/Camp Invention (K-2) takes Flight this year, with FLIGHT LAB. This thematic module will explore all the aspects of flight and students will take home their very own flight commander robot Link. Camp Invention is a highly creative program, where students are invited to solve problems and iterate ideas in an environment where there are no wrong answers. Students will sketch ideas, build physical prototypes, iterate their ideas, collaborate with teams, pitch their creations, disrupt the market, face adversity and failure, and ultimately learn that inventing is a process that is never finished. Camp Invention is all about solving real world problems; therefore, students will also address environmental stability in this year’s themes, Rescue Squad and Optibot with a focus on ecology and resource stability.
