GED Registration
Are you 16 or 17 years old?
If you are 16 or 17, you must enroll in the program and begin attending courses before taking the GED exams.
To enroll, parents/guardians must present during Orientation.
16 and17 year-olds must present one of the following:
- An official withdrawal form (criteria in the box below) from the last high school attended, signed and dated by the principal or designee.
- A “certificate of attendance” letter from the school system stating the student is no longer enrolled and not eligible to retake the high school graduation test or receive a special education diploma.
Be sure to bring the following documents with you:
- Parent/Guardian’s Valid Driver’s License
- Government-issued/non-expired Student ID (please bring a copy of one of the next):
- Government-issued/non-expired Parent ID
- Birth Certificate
All students are required to create a GED account.
Are you 18 years old or older?
Please bring a current, valid government-issued identification, social security card, and birth certificate when enrolling in the program. Acceptable forms of identification are listed below (please bring a copy of one of the following):
- Driver’s license or ID issued by a state or territory
- U.S. Permanent Resident Card
- U.S. Passport
- U.S. Military ID
- Employment Authorization Card (I-766)
- Foreign passport with I-94, I-94A or I-94W
- Foreign passport with U.S. Visa
All students are required to create a GED account.
Please note Registration and Orientation will require up to a four-hour time commitment.
