Community Volunteer Opportunties
Clayton County Public Schools invites community members to make a meaningful impact through two vital volunteer programs:
Village On Patrol (VOP): This program empowers community stakeholders to actively support safety in our elementary, middle, and high schools by assisting with the enforcement of district safety protocols. Volunteers play a crucial role in maintaining a secure and welcoming learning environment for students and staff.
Sitting At the Feet of Our Elders (SAFE): Designed for volunteers aged 55 and older, SAFE is a mentoring program focused on literacy support in elementary schools. Volunteers also contribute their time and experience to district events and programs, enriching the educational journey of our young learners.
These programs provide valuable opportunities for community involvement, fostering a strong partnership between our schools and those dedicated to student success.
