Clayton County Public Schools is proud to host a variety of family events throughout November, all centered around the joy of literacy — reading and writing!
This month, we’re celebrating families and inspiring fun, creative ways to enjoy reading and writing at home with your student(s). Reading together not only strengthens your child’s skills and comprehension but also fosters a lifelong love for books and learning.
Join us as we showcase literacy in action — at home, in our schools, and throughout the community. Together, let’s make reading and writing a family adventure!

Congratulations to all of our amazing CCPS students and their families who participated in the Focusing on Literacy video contest! With more than 3,700 votes, we’re thrilled to announce the top three videos:
1st Place- The Washington Family (North Clayton Middle)
2nd Place- The Goldwire Family (Michelle Obama Stem Academy & Lovejoy High)
3rd Place- The Rasul Family (Northcutt Elementary & North Clayton Middle)
