Electrical

The Electrical Department maintains, repairs, and installs all interior and exterior lighting and electrical circuits. The department services and repairs 67 generators.
Quarterly lighting inspections are completed to ensure the safety of district students and employees of all Clayton County Public Schools facilities. Annual elevator and handicap lift certifications ensure district compliance with the American Disabilities Act. The department also serves as the Clayton County Public Schools point of contact for Georgia Power.
The Electrical Department has 1 supervisor, 2 master technicians (including one licensed by the state of Georgia), 6 technicians, and 4 apprentices.
