Environmental Services
The Environmental Services Department provides substitute custodial support and training to over 260 district custodial personnel. The training consists of proper cleaning procedures, correct use of cleaning chemicals, and of cleaning equipment. The custodial department assists in year-round district facilities cleaning and assists schools in their efforts to improve the effectiveness of the school custodial staff.
The Environmental Services Equipment Repair Shop maintains and repairs over 1,200 pieces of equipment used in the facilities of Clayton County Public Schools.
The Environmental Services Department has 1 supervisor, 2 master technicians, 2 technicians, and 9 apprentices.
