Riverdale Early Learning Center

Students are selected based on a lottery system, which was completed in March 2026. If spaces remain, students may enroll on a first-come, first-serve basis, based on space available at the particular grade level.

To officially secure your child’s enrollment, please complete all steps in accordance with guidelines from School Choice. We recommend starting the process early!

• Regular school day - student enrollment is FREE
• Extended day (Campus Kids) has a fee (Pk-4 and up)

No, because we are a magnet program, families of all students (except special education students) must provide their own transportation.

All children attending the Riverdale Early Learning Center must have up-to-date immunizations in accordance with Georgia Department of Public Health guidelines. A current Form 3231 (Georgia Immunization Certificate) is required prior to the first day of school.

Yes! Rest time is a regular part of our full-day program schedule for our Pk3 and Pk4 classrooms. You are welcome to send a small blanket and a comfort item from home to help your child feel settled.

Yes. All children enrolling in Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 must be fully potty trained by the start of school on August 3, 2026.
This means they should:

• Recognize when they need to go
• Communicate the need to use the bathroom
• Use the toilet and manage clothing independently

The Early Learning Center’s tentative hours are:

• Before School Care: not offered
• Drop-off: 7:00 AM – 7:30 AM
• Breakfast: 7:00 AM -7:40AM
• Instructional Day: 7:45 AM – 2:15 PM
• Pick-up: 2:15 PM – 3:00 PM
• After school care: 2:30 - 6:30 PM

The Early Learning Center will follow the Clayton County Public Schools instructional calendar, including:

• Fall Break
• Winter Break
• Spring Break
• Summer Recess
