Exceptional Children's Week 2026

April 12 - 18, 2026

Exceptional Children’s Week 2026 – CCPS Overview
Exceptional Children’s Week, led nationally by the Council for Exceptional Children, is a time to celebrate and honor students with disabilities while promoting awareness, inclusion, and the importance of high-quality instruction and support systems that ensure every learner can succeed. In Clayton County Public Schools, we will bring this vision to life through our theme, “Turn the Page to Possibility: Literacy Success in Special Education,” with a focused emphasis on strengthening literacy through structured practices, elevating student voice, and ensuring access to GREAT instruction across all classrooms. This week reinforces our shared commitment to breaking barriers and creating meaningful opportunities for every student.
