Career Technical Instructors (CTI) at all High Schools now in 2nd year
In our second year of participation, the Department of Exceptional Students has continued to excel in integrating students with disabilities into Career Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE) tracts through the support of special education teachers - Career Technical Instructors (CTI). This initiative supports these students in developing vital vocational skills crucial for high school and beyond. This year, our dedication and hard work paid off spectacularly at the state competition, where three of our students not only competed but also excelled earning top honors - including a first-place award in their respective areas.
The achievements of our students in the CTI competition have had a profound impact on our school system, illustrating the effectiveness of targeted support and high expectations. This success not only highlights the potential of our students with disabilities but also reinforces the importance of inclusive educational practices within vocational, career, and technical training. By celebrating these accomplishments, we underscore our commitment to providing all students with opportunities to succeed and be recognized for their talents and skills. This initiative not only fosters inclusivity but also enhances the visibility of our students' capabilities across educational and professional communities.
