Registration Dates

New student registration is available at all Clayton County Public Schools from July 22 through August 14, 2026, Monday through Friday.

School Registration Hours

• Elementary Schools: 8:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
• Middle Schools: 8:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
• High Schools: 8:45 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Families may visit their student’s assigned school during the designated registration hours for assistance with completing the registration process.

Families should upload or bring the following documents to complete the registration process:

• Student’s certified birth certificate
• Student’s Social Security card or signed Social Security number waiver
• Georgia Certificate of Immunization, Form 3231
• Georgia Certificate of Vision, Hearing, Dental and Nutrition Examination, Form 3300
• Parent or legal guardian’s government-issued photo identification
• Two current proofs of residency dated within the past 45 days
• Final report card, transcript or other academic record for grade-level placement

Available standardized test scores

• Additional Documents, If Applicable
• Individualized Education Program
• Psychological evaluation
• Individual Health Plan
• Custody, guardianship or other legal documentation
• Withdrawal documentation from the student’s previous school

Two current documents verifying the parent or legal guardian’s Clayton County address are required. Documents must be dated within the past 45 days and should show the parent's or legal guardian's name and current address.

Additional documentation may be requested to verify residency or legal guardianship.

Before Visiting a School

Families are encouraged to:

1. Complete the Online Registration application.
2. Upload all required documents.
3. Review the application for accuracy.
4. Submit the application before visiting the assigned school.
5. Bring original documents or clear copies for verification, if requested.

Submitting an application does not complete enrollment. The application and all required documents must be reviewed and approved by the district or assigned school.

Students are assigned to schools based on the verified residential address of the parent or legal guardian. Families should confirm their assigned school before visiting a campus for registration assistance.

Families who need assistance completing the Online Registration application may visit their assigned school during registration hours or attend one of the district’s additional registration support opportunities.
