Notices for McKinney-Vento Program Activities

As we reach the end of another school year, we reflect on the ways we may have assisted you and hope that our services benefited the academic success of your student. It is our desire that your student’s educational experience at Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) leads to a most promising future.

If your student was identified for services under the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act for the 2018-2019 school year, we are required to verify your eligibility for assistance for the 2019-2020 school year. You should have received a letter informing you that you are required to re-verify your status if your student will continue in CCPS. The re-verification dates are as follows:




July 11th and 12th, Thursday and Friday

10 a.m. -12:30 p.m. & 2 – 4:30 p.m.

July 16th and 19th, Tuesday and Friday

10 a.m. -12:30 p.m. & 2 – 4:30 p.m.

July 22nd, Monday

2-4:30 p.m.

July 23rd, 25thand 26th, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday

10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

IMPORTANT: If your child requires services for the 2019-2020 school year, you must complete this process first. No services (including transportation) will be carried over from the previous school year.
