Stopfinder Overview
CCPS provides the Stopfinder smartphone app to help you receive information about your child’s school bus ride. It allows you to:

- see real-time information about the location of your child’s school bus, and
- receive notifications when the bus is arriving or departing from a location
If you did not receive a Stopfinder invitation, please check with the school to ensure your email address is up-to-date; by default, only the Primary Contact will receive the invitation.

What are GeoAlerts?
- A GeoAlert is meant to be used as an additional tool to notify a family their bus is nearby. CCPS expects students - with or without using this new tool - to arrive at the bus stop 10 minutes before their scheduled pick-up time. This will be outlined in the Stopfinder app. GeoAlerts can be created for each student.
- Open the map for the student you wish to create a GeoAlert for. The red and white icon will appear in the lower right-hand corner of the map. Tap the icon to open the GeoAlerts menu and select the Create GeoAlert option. You CAN create GeoAlerts for multiple students within one primary household.
