CCPS Announces New Employee Assistance Program

The CCPS Division of Human Resources is pleased to announce that our new Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider will be Deer Oaks EAP Services. CCPS sponsors these benefits and services so that you and your household members can receive these services free of charge. Deer Oaks EAP has considerable expertise and clinical knowledge possessed by its network of providers at numerous convenient locations near you.  The EAP providers are well versed in helping clients of all backgrounds and ages.  The EAP benefit covers up to eight (8) confidential short-term counseling sessions per person, per issue, per year.  

 

Deer Oaks EAP will assist you with many different types of issues.  Among these may be drastic life changes, stress, depression, anxiety, life difficulties, work-life imbalances, substance abuse, marital problems, family or parenting conflicts, grief, violence and unhealthy lifestyles. Deer Oaks EAP benefits include: 

Ø Toll free access to services

Ø Coverage for CCPS employees, spouses, children and any household family members

Ø Available 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week/ 365 days of the year

Ø Mobile App: iConnectYou

Ø Multiple locations near home or work

Ø Employee Well-Being Services

Ø Work-Life Services

 

Deer Oaks EAP will also provide additional assistance, tools, resources and referrals: 

ü Consultations for Financial and Legal Issues

ü Childcare and Eldercare Resources and Referrals

ü Child band Parenting Support Services

ü College Resources/Checklists

ü Retiree Assistance Information and Resources 

 

All callers seeking to access counseling services will receive a telephonic assessment to ensure that short-term solution-focused counseling is appropriate.  A Deer Oaks EAP case manager will work to ensure clinical appropriateness of all services offered and to obtain authorization for sessions. If short-term services are not appropriate, Deer Oaks will assist employees and/or their family members in coordinating with their State Health Benefit Plans (SHBPs) or private healthcare plan for referral assistance through the medical benefit.
