The purpose of the 2018-19 summer literacy camp, STEM SCOOP, is to provide students an opportunity to utilize and develop their literacy skills through activities that authentically require adept reading, writing, listening, speaking and viewing skills. The focus for the literacy camp will be journalism, and the core work of the campers will be to serve as journalists to produce video footage and a magazine that features the highlights of the eight days of three STEM camps at Mt. Zion Primary, Mundy’s Mill Middle School and Drew High School.
