Statement from Clayton County Public Schools Superintendent/CEO Dr. Anthony W. Smith on Delta Air Lines and The Delta Air Lines Foundation’s $16.5M Charitable Contribution in Clayton County:
"I deeply appreciate the steadfast support of the Clayton County Board of Education, the Clayton County Public Schools Foundation, Inc., under the executive leadership of Ms. Nina Packer, district leadership, and key partners who helped make this collaboration with Delta Air Lines and The Delta Air Lines Foundation a reality. Special thanks to Dr. Monika Wiley, Assistant Superintendent, for leading this partnership, and Dr. Pamela Pitts, Executive Director of CTAE, for her instrumental role in launching the flight pathway program at Morrow High School.
