We are pleased to share information about the BOOST Child Care Scholarship, an opportunity offered through United Way of Greater Atlanta and Quality Care for Children to help eligible families access quality child care and early learning experiences.
The BOOST Child Care Scholarship helps eligible families with the cost of care at licensed, Quality Rated child care programs.
Who May Be Eligible?

Families with children ages 0–2 (born after September 1, 2023)

Some older siblings may also qualify until they become eligible for Georgia’s Pre-K

Families who meet established financial eligibility requirements

Parents/guardians who are working or actively seeking employment

Children enrolled in or seeking care through a licensed, Quality Rated child care program
Participating families contribute 7% of their household income toward child care costs, while the scholarship covers the remaining eligible cost, up to $260 per week.
Applications open Monday, August 17, 2026.
