Here's What's Happening

Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) bids a heartfelt, joy-filled farewell to Superintendent Dr. Anthony W. Smith as he concluded his final school tours at the very places where his extraordinary journey in public education first began.

In a powerful full-circle moment, Dr. Smith returned to schools that shaped his career as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, and principal—including Morrow Middle School, Pointe South Middle School, and Mundy’s Mill High School. He also made special appearances at additional campuses (Forest Park Middle School, River’s Edge Elementary School, and Riverdale High School) to greet and speak with students and staff members.
