Clayton County Public Schools proudly celebrated Dr. Douglas Hendrix Sr., Senior Deputy Superintendent and Chief of Staff, as the recipient of the 2025 President’s Volunteer Service Lifetime Achievement Award—a national honor recognizing his decades of selfless service and leadership, and the Sirens of Service Award! 

The heartfelt ceremony, held on May 29, 2025, brought together colleagues, students, family, and community partners to honor Dr. Hendrix’s impact across education and beyond.
