Here's What's Happening
Clayton County Public Schools recently hosted a recognition luncheon honoring families who participated in the Family Engagement Literacy Initiative, a program that highlights meaningful ways families support literacy at home.
Held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, the event brought together families, district leaders, and educators for a holiday-themed celebration featuring interactive discussions on strengthening reading and learning habits beyond the classroom. Families were also recognized for submitting short videos showcasing literacy practices in their homes.
Sponsored by Dr. Delphia Young, Deputy Superintendent of Teaching and Learning, the initiative reflects CCPS’s continued commitment to strong family engagement as a foundation for student success.
