Tuesday, August 27, 2024, was a morning filled with excitement and surprise as Clayton County Public Schools’ (CCPS) Teacher of the Year patrol traveled to Riverdale Middle School to recognize the 2025 district-wide Teacher of the Year, Ms. Ramielle Moorer!
A dedicated chorus teacher at RMS, Ms. Moorer has truly made a positive impact on her students' lives and the educational community as a whole. Her commitment to excellence and innovative teaching methods have earned her praise from students and colleagues alike. She consistently strives to create a stimulating learning environment that fosters growth and enthusiasm among her students while Building a Better Tomorrow, Today.
Ms. Moorer now moves to the next level in the Georgia Teacher of the Year selection process. She must complete and submit state application materials. The statewide Teacher of the Year will be announced this spring. Ms. Moorer will be formally recognized as the 2025 Clayton County Public Schools Teacher of the Year during a special program scheduled for later this school year.
