Here's What's Happening
Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) students competed at the Georgia Aquarium on March 18 for the 1st Annual Underwater Rover Competition! Teams from participating schools designed and built their own Remote Operated Vehicles (ROVs) and were challenged to navigate them through a dynamic underwater obstacle course.
Forest Park High School students Christian Nieves Ramos, Daniel Jimenez, and Aaron Cardenas-Infante won the 1st Place Grand Prize and received tickets for a dolphin encounter! Their team was the only one to successfully navigate the entire course and reach the finish line.
FPHS students Alia Palacios Gomez, Karisma Davis, and Stephanie Ibarra Olguin also earned special recognition with an Award for Excellence in Mission Execution for their outstanding performance.
