District to Observe Juneteenth and 2026 Summer Break

Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS), in compliance with the 2025-2026 Employee Calendar, will be closed on the following dates during the month of June.  All offices and schools will close as follows:

  • Friday, June 19, 2026 – Holiday in observance of Juneteenth (The district will return to regular scheduled hours on Monday, June 22, 2026.)

  • Friday, June 26, 2026 – Non-work Day 

Lastly, the district will close in recognition of Summer Break beginning Monday, June 29, through Friday, July 3, 2026.  The district will return to regular scheduled hours on Monday, July 6, 2026 for the first day of the 2026-2027 school year.
