Clayton County Public Schools is proud to announce that Dr. April Crawford, Deputy Superintendent of Student Support Services, has been named the 2025 recipient of the Lighting the Path Leadership Award by the Principals Center at Georgia State University. This honor recognizes her outstanding leadership, advocacy, and commitment to educational equity.
We also congratulate Ms. Trina Smith, Director of Exceptional Students, who was named 1st Runner-Up, and celebrate several CCPS principals recognized for completing their first year of leadership.
