The Clayton County Board of Education is pleased to announce that Ms. Mary Baker, Board of Education Vice Chair and Representative of District 6, will host a Gun Safety Awareness “Lock It Up” event on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
To be held in the Cafe of the Clayton County Public Schools Administrative Complex, located at 1098 Fifth Avenue in Jonesboro, this event is open to all Clayton County Public Schools families and community members. In addition to Ms. Baker, this event will feature Clayton County District Attorney Tasha Mosley, Clayton County Police Chief Kevin Roberts, Clayton County Public Schools Safety and Security Chief Dr. Reynard Walker, and Packing Pretty Firearms, LLC’s Ms. Daphne Enmon.
Free gun safety locks and other resources will be available for those attending while supplies last.
