The Elementary English Language Arts Department of Clayton County Public Schools invites all families to join our upcoming Virtual Parent University — an empowering opportunity to gain the knowledge, tools, and resources to support your child’s literacy success.

Session Topic: Amira at Home: Turning Screen Time into Reading Time

During this engaging session, families will:

  • Explore how to use Amira’s interactive technology features to strengthen your child’s reading growth at home.
     

  • Learn how to help your student become a better reader by using the personalized Amira Family Report, which includes easy, caregiver-friendly literacy tips.
     

  • Gain practical tools and strategies to track reading time in Amira and help your child participate in the Revved Up to Read Amira Reading Challenge!

About the Revved Up to Read Challenge:

This exciting district-wide competition encourages every scholar to read at least 45 minutes a week and complete 6 or more stories using Amira. Our department will track data monthly, and incentives will be awarded quarterly for top performers!
