Here's What's Happening

Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) congratulates the M.D. Roberts Middle School of the Arts Junior Beta Club for its outstanding showing at the 2025 National Beta Convention in Orlando. Our exceptional scholars represented us with pride and excellence, competing against students from across the country and bringing home amazing results. We are especially proud that M.D. Roberts was the only school from Clayton County Public Schools to compete at the national level!

What is the National Beta Convention?

The National Beta Convention is an annual gathering where top students from across the country compete in academic, artistic, STEM, and leadership events. It’s one of the largest youth academic organizations in America — promoting the ideals of academic achievement, character, leadership, and service.

This experience allows our scholars to showcase their creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, and school pride while connecting with peers nationwide. We’re so proud of our Junior Beta Club!
