Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) is proud to celebrate Corey Brown, a 3rd-grade student at Michelle Obama STEM Elementary Academy, for being named a winner in the Delta Community Credit Union Youth Essay Contest. Corey was one of only a select number of students recognized across the entire metro Atlanta region—an impressive accomplishment that highlights his creativity, writing skills, and academic promise.

The Delta Community Credit Union Youth Essay Contest invites students to express their ideas through written word while exploring real-world themes. Corey's essay stood out among hundreds of submissions, earning him regional recognition and showcasing the excellence fostered within CCPS classrooms.

Corey’s achievement was made possible through the support and guidance of his teacher, Ms. Caroline Reed, whose dedication to literacy and student engagement helped nurture this award-winning submission. This recognition is a testament not only to Corey’s hard work but also to the high-quality instruction and encouragement provided by educators like Ms. Reed.

Clayton County Public Schools extends heartfelt congratulations to Corey Brown and expresses sincere appreciation to Ms. Reed and the team at Michelle Obama STEM Elementary for their commitment to student success.
