Here's What's Happening
In a historic victory for Clayton County Public Schools, the cast and crew of Martha Ellen Stilwell School of the Arts production of “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” earned first place at the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) State One-Act Play Competition. This marks the first time a team from Clayton County has won the state championship in their competitive region, a testament to the outstanding talent, creativity, and dedication of the students and teachers involved.
Directed by Miss Yesenia Ozuna, this production brought together a dynamic ensemble of talented young performers and a dedicated technical team who invested countless hours into perfecting every aspect of the show. “This group of students has demonstrated remarkable dedication and heart,” said Miss Ozuna. “Their hard work, discipline, and love for the arts have carried them to this momentous achievement, and I couldn’t be prouder to see them bring home the first GHSA state one-act play championship for our county.”
