Here's What's Happening
On October 18th and 19th, the Martha Ellen Stilwell School of the Arts Theatre Department delivered a spectacular performance of “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.” Directed and choreographed by Yesenia Ozuna, with musical direction by Joel Derringer and set design by Derrick Vanmeter, this hilarious one-act play captivated audiences with its unique blend of singing, dancing, and acting, earning rave reviews from all who attended.
Principal Brenda Ross Wilson praised the production, stating, “This show showcased the true essence of The Stilwell Experience. Our artists did an excellent job, and we look forward to the Georgia High School Association state competition.”
The Stilwell Theatre Department is excited to announce that they have advanced directly to the Georgia High School Association State One Act competition, which will take place on Saturday, November 16, at the Tift County High School Performing Arts Center. This event is free and open to the public, and we encourage the community to come out and support our talented artists. Please arrive by 5:30 p.m.!
