The Clayton County Public Schools Department of Fine Arts proudly invites families, friends, and community members to attend the 2026 Clayton County Band Camp Performance on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 3:00 PM in the Mt. Zion High School Gymnasium.
This highly anticipated event will highlight the dedication, growth, and musical achievements of student musicians from across Clayton County who have participated in this year’s summer band camp. Throughout the week, students have enhanced their musical skills, strengthened leadership abilities, and prepared an engaging performance for the community.
The program will feature guest conductor Dr. Shelby Chipman, Director of Bands at Florida A&M University. A nationally respected educator and conductor, Dr. Chipman brings a wealth of experience and inspiration, offering students a unique opportunity to learn under his expert guidance.
