Here's What's Happening
Clayton County Public Schools proudly hosted the Class of 2025 for an exclusive event, Graduating in 2025…What’s Next? What’s Your Plan? This three-day experience, held from January 15–17 at the Performing Arts Center, reinforced our commitment to ensuring every senior graduates with a clear plan for their future.
With a focus on The 4-E Effect—Enrollment, Enlistment, Employment, and Entrepreneurship—students gained valuable insights through inspiring messages from Superintendent Dr. Anthony W. Smith and other district leaders, firsthand testimonials from recent graduates, and direct engagement with colleges, employers, and workforce organizations.
Notably, Superintendent Smith introduced the Student Employment Services Department, launching in February 2025, to connect students with meaningful job opportunities immediately after high school. This initiative underscores CCPS’s dedication to preparing students for success beyond the classroom.
